Abstract

The problem in research is; 1) Can the application of the Think Write and Talk learning method improve student achievement in PAI subjects in class IX C at SMPN 1 Prajekan Bondowoso in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year? 2) what is the success rate of applying the Think Write and Talk learning method in increasing student achievement in PAI class IX C at SMPN 1 Prajekan Bondowoso odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year? This study uses action research (class action research) as much as two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this study were 30 students in class IX C. The data obtained were in the form of formative test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The results of the action research showed that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (75.76%) and cycle II (81.40%).
